I asked Salwa Wöden, and he said:

Son, abandon the actions of the body,

And nonaction will naturally arise.

Leave instant presence without a reference point,

And the state beyond limitations will be spontaneously perfected.

Relax your body and mind, and desire will cease.

Leave everything in the great condition beyond conceptual mind!

One day, while I was sleeping on a mountain, I saw the knowledge-holder Tongyung Thuchen arrive near my pillow. By the strength of devotion, I briefly praised and saluted him thus:

Marvelous!

Essence of all sugatas,

King of all knowledge-holders,

Lord of all beings of the six lokas,

Sun and moon illuminating the darkness,

Master of the meritorious ones,

Leader of all, I praise you, Lord Tongyung!

Bestow upon me, the fortunate one, the supreme and common siddhis!

In order to illuminate the darkness of ignorant beings,

And to enhance the practice and remove obstacles for those who are progressing along the path,

I beg you to grant a pointing-out instruction in four written lines.
